Information Literacy and Library Resources

POD has an in-house part time Instructional Services librarian that can assist you with information literacy or library resources questions.  Feel free to come in and talk with the Instructional Services librarian. 

Besides individual consultations, the Instructional Services librarian can coordinate library workshops for groups of faculty.  Workshops can be tailored to the specific needs of a department.  If requested, we will conduct the workshop at your location.  Please submit a request online or call x5804 to schedule an individual appointment or request a group workshop (allow two-weeks lead time for workshop preparation).

POD employs full-time staff members and student workers who serve as technicians/consultants in the areas of digital media (web development, video/audio editing, podcasting, etc.), Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, FrontPage), and Blackboard.  If you have a project that will require assistance/training, please submit a request online or contact our front desk at x1420 to schedule an appointment.
