Adding Announcements

Announcements occupy the Main Frame upon entry to a Blackboard course shell and also appear in the My Announcements area on the system Welcome Page. Announcements can be used to post timely information critical to course success.

To add an announcement:

1. Go to the Control Panel.
2. Select Announcements located in the Course Tools box on the Control Panel.
3. Click the Add Announcement button.
4. Enter a Subject in the Subject text box.
5. Enter a Message in the Message text box.
6. Select your display options under section 2.
7. Click Submit.
