Within the context of promotion, tenure, merit, and post-tenure review, faculty often must express their work as teachers. The teaching portfolio is a tool which has been developed to help faculty to do this in a succinct form. This three-session, interactive workshop will consider the functions of a teaching portfolio and assist with choosing and organizing items to be included. Participants will write teaching philosophies and should bring material to assist them (e.g., syllabi, student ratings, and products of effective teaching). Participants MUST attend all three sessions (5/28, 5/29 & 5/30) and will receive a book gift.
