RSS feeds are collections of regularly-updated content that you can subscribe to using your web browser, e-mail program, or a specialized feed reader (also known as an "aggregator"). Changes or additions to the feed are downloaded to your computer automatically, so you always have the latest information at your fingertips.

At the POD Center, we publish our upcoming events for the current semester in a feed. Subscribing is easy. Just follow the directions below for your browser or e-mail program, or learn more about RSS feed readers.

• With Internet Explorer 7, you'll see an orange icon in your toolbar. Just click it to view our feed, then click Subscribe to this feed. To access the feed, click the star icon on your toolbar to open your Favorites Center, click the Feeds button, and click POD Upcoming Events. Click an event title to read its description.
   
• With Mozilla Firefox, you'll see an orange icon inside your address bar. Click the icon to view our feed, and click Subscribe Now. This will add an entry to your Bookmarks Toolbar labeled POD Upcoming Events. Clicking this will show a list of all upcoming POD events this semester. Click an event title to read its description.
   
• With OS X Safari, you'll see a blue RSS icon inside your address bar. Click the icon to view our feed, then bookmark it. Open POD Upcoming Events in your bookmarks menu to see a list of our upcoming events. Click an event title to read its description.
   
• With Microsoft Outlook 2007, click Account Settings under the Tools menu. On the RSS Feeds tab, click New. Copy and paste this location into the box: http://pod.nku.edu/pod.xml then click Add and Close. You will find a folder for RSS Feeds under the Mail Folders on the left side of your screen. Click the + button to see the feeds you are subscribed to, and click POD Upcoming Events. Click an event, then click View article... to read the event description.
