Advances in Physiology Education is dedicated to the learning physiology, both in specialized courses and in the broader context of general biology education. Advances also aims to increase recognition of physiology education as a scholarly activity. The journal publishes peer-reviewed descriptions of new strategies for teaching in the classroom and laboratory, essays on education, and review articles for teachers on our current understanding of physiological mechanisms, new technology for teaching and research, and pedagogy.

The American Biology Teacher, a nationally recognized journal, brings you specific how-to-do-it suggestions for the classroom and laboratory, field activities, interdisciplinary programs, and articles on recent advances in biology and life science. Each issue features reviews of books, classroom technology products, and "Biology Today." The Bioscience Education Electronic journal (BEE-j) is an on-line, bi-annual electronic journal owned and published by the Centre for Bioscience. Cell Biology Education—A Journal of Life Science Education (CBE) was launched in 2002 by the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB). With the Spring 2006 issue, the ASCB has changed the name of the journal to CBE—Life Sciences Education (CBE-LSE) to reflect better the breadth of its readership and the scope of its submissions. Like its predecessor, CBE—LSE is a free, quarterly online journal.
